Knidos (BC 404-394) Tridrachm

ca 404-394 BC. AR Tridrachm (11.06g). The infant Herakles, naked, kneeling to right on ground line, strangling a serpent in each hand, Σ-Y-N. / Head of Aphrodite facing to right, her hair rolled, a prow before, KNI-Δ-IΩ-N, all within an incuse square. Some light pitting, good very fine. Purchased privately in 1987 US$ 8,250.
