Trajan Decius, 240-251 AD. AE35 (27.29g). AV KAI Γ MEC KVIN.ΔEKIOC TPAIANO, in left and right field Π- Π / TAPCO - V MHTPOΠOΛEΩC ΓB, in left and right field A/M - K, Perseus, nude except chlamys over left shoulder, standing left, holding harpa in left arm, head of Medusa in left hand and in extended right hand cult-statue of Apollo standing frontal on omphalos and holding in each hand a dog with head up. Rare. F+/aVF, olive-green patina, usual roughness. Hoeft coll.

Perseus was the suggested founder of Tarsos. Apollo here is often called Apollo Lykeios in error.
