under Mithradates VI, Eupator, king of Pontos, 120-63 BC. AE27 (12.64g, 24mm, 12h), struck 88-85 BC. Hermogenes and Phrixos, magistrates. Diademed head of Mithradates VI of Pontos right / Nike standing right, holding wreath and palm frond; EPMOΓENH[Σ]/[Φ]PIΞOΣ in two lines to left. Good VF, dark green patina. Excellent portrait. Rare. Ex Vecchi 8 (12/1998), lot 110.
