Akmoneia (AD 62-65) AE 17 - Poppaea

Poppaea, Augusta, 62-65 AD. AE17 (3.04g, 12h). Lucius Servenius Capito, archon, with his wife Iulia Severa. Struck circa AD 62. Draped bust right, wearing wreath of grain ears, with forepart of lion at far shoulder / Artemis advancing right, drawing arrow and holding bow; monogram (= EΠI) to left, monogram (=APX) above lyre to right. Good VF, hard dark green patina. Excellent for issue. Group CEM.
