Severus Alexander, 222-235 AD, struck 226/227 AD. AE27 (13.37g, 12h). Î‘Î¥ Îš CÎ•ÎŸÎ¥Î Î¡ Î‘Î›Î•ÎžÎ‘ÎÎ”Î¡ÎŸC, aureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ÎœÎ—Î¤Î¡ÎŸÎ ÎšÎ‘Î™CÎ‘Î¡, Mount Argaeus, wreath on top, with date in exergue (ETS = 226/227 AD).

Light green patina, with some earthen deposits remaining. Appears to have been struck from orichalcum.
