Miletos (BC 600-550) EL 1/6 Stater

Lydia (?), uncertain mint, mid 6th century BC. AV (or EL) Hekte (2.34g). Forepart of lion left / Bipartite rectangular punch with floral pattern. Apparently unique. An issue of great importance and fascination, about extremely fine. Ex Leu 50 (1990), 165 and CNG 26 (1993), 98.
