Nikomedeia (AD 235-238) AE 26 - Maximus

Maximus. Caesar, 235/6-238 AD. AE26 (8.41g, 12h). Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Psyche, with butterfly wings, kneeling left, reaching toward Eros fleeing left. Near EF, brown patina, reverse double struck. Rare and attractive for issue. Ex Cederlind.
