Assos (BC 350) Hemidrachm

4th-3rd century BC. AR Hemidrachm (10mm, 1.51g). Helmeted head of Athena left / AΣΣI, facing boukranion; grain ear to right. gVF. Rare.

Given the weight of this specimen, it seems much more likely that the type was actually a triobol rather than a diobol, with the weight of the obol appearing to be ~0.5g, and the weight of the drachm to be ~3.0g.
