Kyme (BC 550-500) Stater

ca 550-500 BC. AR Stater (11.74g, 20mm). Forepart of horse right / Two incuse square punches of unequal size, both with stellate patterns. VF, toned. Very rare.

From RAJ Coll.; ex Rosen Coll. (MÃ¼nzen und Medaillen AG 72, 10/1987), lot 256; Abbott Coll. (Glendining, 10/1951), lot 270; Weber Coll., 5474 (Weberâ€™s pedigree to Yorke Moore sale is apparently erroneous).
