Marion (BC 4th cent) 1/3 Stater

Stasioikos I and Timocharis, ca early to mid 4th century BC. AR 1/3 Stater (14mm, 3.24g, 11h). 'pa-si-le-o-se sa-ta-si-wo-i-ko' in Cypriot syllabic script, laureate head of Apollo right / 'pa-si-le-o-se ti-mo-xa-pi-wo-se' in Cypriot syllabic script, Aphrodite or Europa hanging beside bull running right, grasping right horn with right hand. Extremely rare and of great historical interest. Struck from slightly worn dies, otherwise VF.
