Nikomedeia (AD 117-138) Cistophoric Tetradrachm - Hadrian

Hadrian, 117-138 AD. AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm (10.22g, 7h), struck after 128 AD. Laureate and draped bust right / COM BIT, octastyle temple set on three-tiered podium, ROM S P AVG across frieze, three standing figures standing front in pediment, each holding a spear. VF, flan flaw on reverse. Unpublished variety with standing figures in pediment.
