Hekatomnos, Satrap, 392-377 BC. AR Diobol (1.30g). Mylasa mint. Laureate head of bearded man right (Hekatomnos?) / Forepart of bull left, E before. VF. Extremely rare.

Obols and Diobols are well-known from the emission of small coins assigned convincingly to the Carian Satrap Hekatomnos. A. Winzer, Antike PortraitmÃ¼nzen (2005), No. 13, argues that some portray the Satrap himself, while others Zeus Lepsynos.
