Chalke (BC 4th cent) AE 9

ca 4th cent BC. AE9 (0.64g). Head of Nymph right, hair tightly rolled in back / X-A, spear head. Dark green patina, VF. Very rare. Joy coll.

The assignment of this series to the Island Chalke on the west coast of Rhodos is suggested by D. Sear, Greek Coins II, 4831.
