Ancient Greek and Roman coins from Asia Minor

Coin ID #5819

Alexandreia (AD 198-217) AE 22 - Caracalla

Caracalla, 198-217 AD. AE22 (6.10g). ANTONINV - S PIVS AV, draped, cuirassed and laureate bust right / GEN CO - L - AUG TRO, Genius standing facing, head left, holding cornucopiae in left hand and statue of Apollo in his outstretched right hand. About VF. Hoeft coll.

Bellinger 221 has the same rev. type for Commodus, but does not list it for Caracalla. Curious, since Cohen 801 has the type for Caracalla, citing the Paris collection. This coin is different than Lindgren's and Cohen's. Obv. legend different, ANTONIVS PIVS AV versus M AVREL ANTONINVS. Rev. legend different, GEN COL AVG TRO versus COL AVG TRO CN (GEN?) (per Curtis Clay)
