Domitian, 81-96 AD. AE32 (15.76g), struck under strategos T.FL.Metrodoros. ΔOMITIANOC KAICAP CEBAC - TOC Γ[E]PMANIKOC, laureate bust right, Aegis on left shoulder / [EΠI T ΦΛ MHTPO]ΔΩPOV CTPA - TO B CAPΔ / [IAΩN] (TO ligate), youthful Dionysos in long garment sitting left on throne, resting with left arm on back of throne and propping his head in left hand; with right hand pouring wine from kantharos into cup which Hephaistos holds to him with his left hand; nude Hephaistos standing right, wearing his typical hat and holding right arm behind his back; his hammer standing in front. Rare, F/about VF. Hoeft coll.

The rev. obviously depicts the scene which precedes directly Hephaistos' return to the Olympos. Dionysos has invited Hephaistos to a meeting to make him drunken with wine.
