Ancient Greek and Roman coins from Asia Minor

Coin ID #7816

Selge (AD 209-212) AE 16 - Geta

Geta, 209-212 AD. AE16 (4.13g). AV K - CE ΓETAC, bearded, laureate head right / CEΛ-ΓEΩN, Dionysos standing left, wearing nebris and boots, holding kantharos in right hand and resting left hand on knobby thyrsos decorated with Styrax leaves(!). Very rare, VF, dark green patina. Hoeft coll. Unpublished?

Here, the thyrsos is obviously decorated with Styrax! Selge was the center of the Styrax production and so it's an understandable hint to its main product. I think this depiction is unique.
