Sagalassos (AD 268-270) AE 36 - Claudius II

Claudius II Gothicus, 268-270 AD. AE36 / 10 Assaria (25.74g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Apollo seated left, head right, holding lyre set on low basis; I (mark of value) to lower left; in exergue, grain ear right. Good VF, brown and green patina, minor surface roughness. Very rare. Ex From the HLT Coll. Ex Superior (31 May 1980), lot 2500.
