Germanikopolis (AD 193-211) AE 30 - Septimus Severus

Septimius Severus, 193-211 AD. AE30 (15.56g, 12h). Dated CY 215 (209/10 AD). AV K Λ C CЄOVHP[OC], laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on garlanded altar, head and tail right, with wings folded, holding wreath in beak; signum on either side, ЄT CЄI (date) in exergue. Good VF, brown and green patina, weakly struck at periphery. Extremely rare type from this city. From Group CEM.
