Commodus, 177-192 AD. AE43 - Medallion (40.53g, 6h). Marcus Aurelius Athenaios, magistrate. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; countermarks: head right (Caracalla?) within circular incuse (2x) / Asclepius standing facing on left, leaning on serpent-entwined staff; to right, Apollo Tyrimnaios standing left, holding laurel branch.
