Ionia Uncertain (BC 600-550) Lion 4 - EL 1/24

ca 600-550 BC. EL 1/24 Stater (7mm, 0.59g). Milesian standard. Figural type. Head of roaring lion left / Incuse square. Good VF. Apparently unpublished denomination.

The cataloger of the Elektron collection associated its coins of this type to Rosen 304, but the style of the lion and the incuse punch are not consistent with these.
