Akmoneia (AD 37-41) AE 17 - Caligula

Gaius (Caligula), 37-41 AD. AE17 (4.46g, 11h). Krates, magistrate. Bare head right / Artemis advancing right, holding bow and drawing arrow from quiver; small stag to right. Near VF, dark brown patina, some deposits. Ex Wagner Coll. Ex Alex G. Malloy 6 (3/1976), lot 383.

Perhaps a coin of Gaius Caesar, although the portrait appears a bit mature.
