Septimius Severus, 193-211 AD. AE34 (27.94g, 5h). M. Aelius Attalianus, magistrate. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ΕΠΙ Μ ΜΑΙ Ω (W inverted) TAΛIA-NOV APAMEΩ-N, Zeus Nikephorus seated left. VF, dusty, black-green patina. Extremely rare, the second known specimen, the other is in the BM. From the Garth R. Drewry Collection. Ex Berk 111 (10/1999), lot 550.
