Antonine period, 138-192 AD. AE (7.99g). Bare-headed and draped bust of Syncletos to right. Rev. Apollo, nude but for chlamys draped around his left arm, standing left, holding raven in his right hand and double-ax with his left. Extremely rare. Of splendid style and with an attractive dark patina. Some slight smoothing, otherwise, extremely fine. Ex Leu 65 (5/1996), lot 376.
