Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AR Tridrachm (9.26g, 23mm). ΑΥΤ ΚΜ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟC CЄΒ, laureate and cuirassed bust right, with spear and shield depicting emperor standing on captive before trophy / ΜΗΤΡΟΠ ΚΑΙCΑΡΙ, Mt. Argaios, Є Τ Γ in exergue; countermark: head of Tyche. Very rare. EF.
