Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE35 (23.24g, 12h). Dated CY 306 (238/9 AD). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Serapis enthroned facing, holding scepter; Cerberus at feet, ЄTS (date) in exergue. VF, olive green patina with reddish earthen highlights/deposits, minor roughness on obverse. Rare. Cooper Coll; Ex CNG 69 (6/2005), lot 1101; Schulten 26 (3/1990), lot 877.
