Eirenopolis (AD 253-260) AE 28 - Valerian I

Valerian I, 253-260 AD. AE28 - 8 Assaria (15.79g, 6h), dated CY 192 (243/4 AD). Radiate and cuirassed bust right; c/m: Athena with trophy (?) in circle / Standing figures of Hygieia feeding serpent and Serapis with serpent-staff. VF, dark brown patina. The identity of the countermarked figure is unclear in the published specimens.
