Koropissos (AD 235-238) AE 32 - Maximinus I

Maximinus I, 235-238 AD. AE32 (15.62g, 6h). Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Perseus standing left, holding harpa and Gorgonion, grasping hands with Andromeda standing right; below, head of sea monster, Ketos. VF, green patina, grafitti reverse. The same obverse die is used at Philadelphia, cf. SNG Levante 580; both dies differ from SNG Levante 590.
