Caracalla, 198-217 AD. AE27 (11.62g, 11h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Cult-statue of Hercules, holding club set on ground and lion skin, standing facing within central arched bay with fencing, flanked by two tetrastyle temple façades; all set on tiered base. Near EF, brown patina. Extremely rare architectural type for this emperor from this city. From Group CEM.
