Attaleia (AD 235-238) AE 25 – Maximinus I

Maximinus I Thrax, 235-238. AE25 (6.94g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / ATTA- ΛЄΩ/N, four column shrine, within statue of Athena Nikephoros holding spear and Nike; at her feet, shield and owl. Rare. Dark green patina, big flan, slightly off centre, very fine.
