Commodus, 177-192 AD. AE45 - Medallion (40.76g, 6h). Artemidoros, son of Floros, strategos. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right; countermarks: monogram within incuse circle and grape cluster within incuse circle / The Capitoline Triad: Hera on left, holding scepter; Zeus in center, holding patera and scepter; Athena on right, holding grounded shield; small altar between Zeus and Athena. Fine, brown patina. Extremely rare. Frederick Coll. Ex CNG Elec. Auc. 132, lot 114.
