Quasi-autonomous, 253-268 AD (time of Gallienus). AE21 (4.20g), struck under magistrate Ermeias. IEPA.CVN.- KΛHTOC, youthful bust of Senate, draped, right / AIΛ.EP - M[E], river-god Xanthos, bearded and wreathed, nude to hips, leaning left, resting left arm on vase from which water flows, holding in right hand long waterplant; in left field KVMA - I; in ex. [Ξ]ANΘO[C]. VF, slightly rough. Hoeft coll.

This river-god played an important role in the Troyan War under the name Skamandros (today Küzük Menderes).
