IEPA.CVN.- KÎ›HTOC, youthful bust of Senate, draped, right / AIÎ›.EP - M[E], river-god Xanthos, bearded and wreathed, nude to hips, leaning left, resting left arm on vase from which water flows, holding in right hand long waterplant; in left field KVMA - I; in ex. [Îž]ANÎ˜O[C]. VF, slightly rough. Hoeft coll.

This river-god played an important role in the Troyan War under the name Skamandros (today KÃ¼zÃ¼k Menderes).
