Ionia Uncertain (BC 550-500) Horse - EL 1/24

ca 600-550 BC. EL Hemihekte – Twenty-Fourth Stater (6mm, 0.60g). Lydo-Milesian standard. Figural type. Head of pegasos left / Incuse square. Near EF.

On most examples of this issue, the wing of Pegasos is off the flan, and therefore the type is usually referred to as a horse’s head.
