Anazarbos (AD 218-222) AE 30 - Elagabalus

Elagabalus, 218-222 AD. AE30 - Triassarion (11.66g, 6h). Undated, but struck circa 219-221 AD. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left / Hercules standing right, leaning on club set on rocks. VF, black patina, light earthen deposits, minor roughness. Very rare, this coin the sole example cited by Ziegler. Ex Krizan Collection. Ex Levante Coll. (CNG Elec. Auc. 106 (1/2005), lot 139).
