Ionia Uncertain (BC 650-600) EL 1/6 Stater

ca 650-600 BC. EL Hekte - 1/6 Stater (2.28g). Milesian standard. Striated type. Flattened "haphazard" striated surface / Double incuse punch. Good VF. Although the present specimen does not have one of its square punches oriented diagonally, as the Weidauer specimens, the punches share common characteristics, such as a featureless surface and sides with vertical striations.
