Kyzikos (AD 198-217) AE 43 - Caracalla

Caracalla, 198-217 AD. AE43 / Medallion (43.31g, 12h). Laureate and cuirassed bust right, holding spear over left shoulder; aegis on breastplate / Caracalla, bareheaded and in military attire, standing left, holding phiale over lighted altar and spear; vexillum to either side. VF, green patina, areas of roughness, hairline flan crack, minor doubling on reverse. Very rare.
