AV KAI TI AI AÎ”PIANOC ANTÎ©NÐ„INOC Ð„V, laureate and draped bust left / KOINON IÎ“ Î OÎ›Ð„Î©N [Î PO M KÎ› Î¦PONTÎ©N] ACIAPX KAI APX IÎ“ Î OÎ›Ð„Î©N, the Abduction of Persphone: Hades, with billowing chlamys, in quadriga driven right by Eros above, holding scepter in left hand and carrying away Persephone; fallen flower basket below horses. VF, red and dark grayish-green patina, edge crack, minor roughness. Extremely rare.
