Sardeis (AD 117-138) Cistophoric Tetradrachm - Hadrian

Hadrian, 117-138 AD. AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm (10.48g, 1h), struck after 128 AD. Bare head right; countermark: IMP (ligate) VES AV(AV ligate) G in incuse / Cult statue of Kore standing facing; grain ears and poppy at feet. VF. Overstruck on a cistophorus of Mark Antony which bore the IMP VES AV countermark.
