Tranquillina, wife of Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AE21 (5.58g). Draped bust on crescent right / Naked Bacchus (or Dionysos) standing left holding kantharos and branch; at his feet, panther. Adjustment marks on both sides, weak strike and some encrustration, very fine or better for wear.
