Paphos (BC 51-30) AE - Cleopatra VII

Cleopatra VII and Ptolemy XV Caesarion, ca 47 BC. AE (15.14g). Diademed bust of Cleopatra right, as Aphrodite, with Caesarion, as Eros, in her arms; scepter at far shoulder / ΚΛΕΟΠΑΤΡΑΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΗΣ, two cornucopiae bound with fillet; ΚΥΠΡ ligate in field to right. Extremely rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. Minor corrosion on obverse, otherwise gVF. Ex Sternberg sale X, 1981, 221.
