Septimius Severus, 193-211 AD. AE17 (2.60g). AV KL [CEΠ - C]EVHPOC, draped, laureate bust right / EΦEC-I/ΩN, boar running right, pierced by spear. Rare, unpublished. Good F. Hoeft coll.

The boar belongs to the local founder myth of Ephesos.
