Macrinus, 217-218 AD. AE35 (24.36g, 6h). A-VT K M OΠЄΛ • CЄO-VH MAKPЄINOC, laureate and cuirassed bust right, slight drapery, wearing short beard / ЄΦЄCIΩN ΠPΩTΩN ACIAC, tetrastyle temple containing statue of emperor, togate and holding phiale in left hand; BΩTA in pediment; before, altar surrounded by five male figures, each with right hand raised in salute, and sacrificial bull. Good VF, brown patina. Extremely rare. From Group CEM. Ex Sternberg XI (11/1981), lot 280.
