Our coin, however, was clearly struck at Nicomedia, based on its obverse die link to Metcalf's type B19, no. 43 (obv. die O30). The presence of Sabina's imperial title dates the coin to after 128 AD, the year in which she was made Augusta.

Nikomedeia (AD 209-211) AE 30 - Geta781 viewsGeta, as Augustus, 209-211 AD. AE30 (17.75g, 1h). The illegible top two lines in the wreath might be ΤΩΝ ΑΘΛΩΝ, from the Games. The obverse die is the only obverse for Geta as Augustus, that of the two-temple reverse (Waddington). The legend-in-wreath reverse is evidently unlisted anywhere.
