Draped bust of Athena facing slightly left, wearing triple-crested helmet and necklace; crested Corinthian helmet and grape cluster to left, T to right / Baaltars seated left, holding lotus-tipped scepter in right hand; grain ear and grape-bunch in left field, I under throne, small anullet above rung. Nice EF.

Good VF, lightly toned, struck with worn obverse die, two flan cracks, overstruck on uncertain undertype. Baal standing left, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in left; 'BLTRZ' in Aramaic to right, [Ι]ΣΣΙΚΟΠin Greek to left / Ahura Mazda facing, head turned to right, lower body replaced by a winged sun-disc, wearing crown and holding a wreath in right hand and a lotus in left. Very rare. Toned, VF. From the collection of H.S. von Aulock.

Issos (BC 388-380) Tiribazos - Stater680 views388-380 BC. Tiribazos, Satrap of Western Asia. Second reign, AR Stater (20mm, 10.52g). Baal standing half-left, holding eagle and sceptre / Ahura-Mazda, body terminated by solar disk, holding wreath and lotus blossom. VF, usual weak strike.
