Kyzikos (BC 600-550) EL 1/6 Stater136 viewsca 600-550 BC. EL Hekte - 1/6 Stater (2.68g, 9mm). Head of tunny fish left on round disk; three pellets above and below / Quadripartite incuse square.
The published examples of this type, as well as prior examples offered at public auction, are all 1/12 Staters (Hemihekte). This appears to be the first example at the 1/6 Stater (Hekte) denomination.
