The Kayhan specimen has a slightly different star which appears to have rays all of roughly equal length. Additionally, it lacks the linear border around the star.

This curious pale silver issue is struck on the thick, globular flan often associated with late figural electrum. The attribution is uncertain; Schönert-Geiss has published similar specimens as tetrobols of the earliest issues at Maroneia, while find spots seem to indicate an origin in Asia Minor.
