Maximus, Caesar, 235/6-238 AD. AE24 - Diassarion (7.19g, 1h). Γ OPY OYH MAΞIMOC KAI, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right / NIKOMHΔЄΩ/N ΔIC NЄΩKOP/ΩN, Demeter seated to left on modius (?), holding grain ears in her right hand and long scepter with her left. An apparently unpublished variety. Green patina. VF.
