Kyzikos (BC 460-400) EL Stater

ca 430 BC. EL Stater (16.02g). Poseidon, naked but for cloak over left shoulder, kneeling right, holding dolphin and trident; tunny fish below / Quadripartite incuse square. Extremely rare and a very interesting issue. Unusually well-struck and centered on a full flan, aEF. Ex Sothebyâ€™s sale 6/1990, Hunt part II, 462.
