ca 109-89 BC. AE31 (19.76g). Head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet / Perseus standing facing, holding harpa and Medusa's head; Medusa's body at his feet, monograms flanking him. VF, brown patina, reverse slightly double struck.

Traditionally dated to the period of the First Mithradatic War, De Callatay has placed this issue during the period of Mithradates VI's expansion of Pontic influence in Asia Minor prior to that conflict.
