Gergis (BC 450-400) Tetrobol

ca 5th century BC. AR Tetrobol (1.90g, 12mm, 5h). Sphinx seated right with raised left paw / Athena wearing Corinthian helmet left; within incuse square. Granulate surfaces, Very Fine, Very Rare. cf. Helios 8, lot 281 and Gorny & Mosch 212, lot 1640; unpublished in standard references.
