Magnesia (BC 300) Octobol

ca 300 BC. AR Attic Octobol (5.41g). Isagoras, magistrate. Rider with lance on horseback prancing right / Bull butting left; ΙΣΑΓΟΡΑΣ (magistrate), Greek "Z" below; all within circular maeander pattern. Good VF, some light porosity. See Kricheldorf XXXIV (1/1980), lot 113 for another example from this magistrate.
